Announcements!

08 Mar Announcements!

It’s been a little while since we’ve posted, and you know what that means…lots of things have happened!

First of all, we’re so pleased that our daycare numbers are growing.  I think the number 1 question we receive is “how many dogs do you have in a day?”  A few months ago our average was around 8 dogs/day but now are numbers are steadily climbing and now our daily average is 12 dogs – sometimes even more!  Last week we hit the 20 mark for the first time and it was awesome!!  It’s all thanks to the support of all of you.  You’re the reason why Barks is possible.  So to all our first time users, everydayers and all those in between we want to say thank you so much for trusting us with your furbaby and spreading the word!  That being said – special shout outs to Lindsey Chambers with Toby and Bev McGurk with Ruby and Zeke are necessary…these lovely people have sent us tons of clients just by spreading our name around at local dog parks and to their friends.  It’s just fantastic and we love that your dogs love it here because we love them right back!

Another thing that I’d like to point out is lately we’ve had a lot of turn over.  With Alex leaving it’s been really hard finding the right person to fit in with our staff.  There were a couple of gals that we tried out but it didn’t work out.  But we’re pleased to announce that we have not 1 but 2 new people on board!  Becky and Brittany are enthusiastic to be welcomed to the Barks team and they are crazy for dogs! Keep an eye out on our staff page as we introduce them both a little bit better.

Lastly, we are hosting another K9 Gental Dentle Clinic on April 14th.  By using an anesthesia-free approach these ladies are able to calm your dog down and hand-scale their teeth.  The health benefits are amazing as it helps avoid tooth decay later in their lives.  If you’ve already used them you can vouch for how amazing they are, but if you’ve never signed your dog up we highly urge you to give it a try!  They can clean 99% of dog’s teeth.  Phone us to book your appointment – limited spots available!

That’s all for now! Thanks for reading and be sure to keep checking our Facebook page as we update it often with photos of your cute dog and new ones, too!

Have a woof woof day!
